This database contains over one million bioparts from various organisms. Currently most of the parts are proteins carrying out enzymatic, structural, regulatory and signaling functions. Other bioparts such as regulatory DNA elements (promoters, RBSs etc.) will be included in the updated version.
You can search the database based on UniProt ID, Gene/protein name, organism name, keywords (e.g. glucose, P450, transferase, glucosidase), EC numbers and cofactors for a protein.
